Pedri had a phenomenal 2024-25 season, and it was no surprise that Barca's domination on all fronts coincided with the midfield technician playing the best football of his career hitherto. Not only did he prove himself to be among the best midfielders in Europe, but also earned "best player in the world" and Ballon d'Or shouts from fans on social media. Indeed, Pedri's contributions from midfield played a huge role in helping the Catalans lift the La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de Espana trophies.
WHAT WOJCIECH SZCZESNY SAID
Speaking on the podcast, Szczesny said: "What Pedri has done this season… I've never seen a season like this from any player. Watching him live, watching him control the game both defensively and offensively… It's incredible. He's the player who has impressed me most in my entire life.
