Some of the most iconic football stadiums across the world have hosted World Cup finals. Venues like Brazil's Maracana, Mexico's Estadio Azteca and England's Wembley Stadium have all hosted World Cup finals.
With the 2022 World Cup set to kick-off in less than three months, all eyes are on the venue for the final which is set to be unveiled officially next month.
The 80,000-seater Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar which will host the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, is all set to be officially launched on September 9.
The stunning venue features Arabian elements like bowls, vessels and art pieces popular across the region. The design is also based on the interplay between light and shadows, a characteristic which is seen on the popular Arab lanterns called Fanar.
